Founded in September 2011, the Pelosi Law Group brings big firm expertise to a small firm practice, providing personalized and focused attention to every project and matter.
Our attorneys have over 50 years of combined experience with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), planning and zoning laws, development agreements, Subdivision Map Act, natural resources permitting and other California laws that impact the use and development of real property.

Sometimes that path does not require active involvement from a land use attorney, and we are always the first to step back and let others take the lead where appropriate. Our attorneys come from some of the top named large law firms in California. They also have worked as City Attorney’s and County Counsel as well as working in house at private development firms. Their broad and diverse experience and expertise is what sets the Pelosi Law Group apart and is what helps us tackle complex land use questions for our clients. Alexis Pelosi, Principal Attorney and founder of the Pelosi Law Group, began her career at Morrison & Foerster, worked at the Oakland City Attorney’s Office, and most recently worked in the Real Estate Group at Sheppard Mullin Richter and Hampton. Peter Ziblatt, Of Counsel at the Pelosi Law Group, began his career at Sheppard Mullin Richter and Hampton and has worked at both Braddock and Logan and Wells Fargo Bank’s Commercial Owned Real Estate prior to joining the Pelosi Law Group. Miriam Montesinos began her career at Baker Mckenzie, worked at Sheppard Mullin Richter and Hampton and most recently was Of Counsel at Gresham Savage. William Fleishhacker began his career at the San Francisco City Attorney’s Office before moving to Morrison & Foerster, Sheppard Mullin Richter and Hampton and most recently working in the Alameda County Counsel’s Office.
